Experience: Hugh started his career at Barclays in 1986 on their Management Development Programme for undergraduates. Two years spent in branch banking and one year in Asset Based Finance. In 1989 he joined Investec Bank in the Corporate Banking division doing Corporate Lending, MBO’s and Property Finance. In 1991 Hugh joined Old Mutual Properties as a Property Investment Analyst. In the mid-1992 started Old Mutual direct marketing of their land bank for potential developments. Hugh joined RMB Properties as Marketing Manager in 1993 and was appointed as Marketing Director in 2002. The role of Marketing Director includes a very close working relationship with the Development Division in sourcing new development opportunities. Appointed as Marketing Director of Eris Property Group in July 2008.
As at January 2021 Hugh’s role at Eris was expanded to be responsible for New Business opportunities for the company, working across all product lines.
